Meet The Task Force
Hope Heals Suicide Prevention Task Force focuses on five core strengths. To fully achieve our mission we engage in these five core strengths.
Work to increase awareness and reduce the stigma of behavioral health and suicide.
Offer educational programs to the public and to professionals.
Educate the public about mood disorders, suicide warning signs, and community resources.
Promote policies and legislation that impact suicide and prevention.
Provide programs and resources for survivors of loss and people at risk, and involve them in the Task Force.
We now offer a grief support group in our community for survivors of suicide loss. We meet the third Thursday of every month at 6:30 pm.
HHSPTF meetings are also held the third Thursday of every month at 5:45 pm.
